Milk chocolate, raisins, dessert wine, slight ocean salt and maybe a touch of lemon.
The palate starts bright and zingy. A burst of ripe berries mellow to the delicate Rivesaltes dessert wine influence. This is a mature and rounded sweetness with hints of Thorntons special toffee, lemon and leather.
The intricate dessert wine eventually gives way to a spicy oak with a myriad of mellow spices.

16 years old, un-peated Bruichladdich, fully matured in an ex-Rivesaltes wine barrique. This aptly named release truly is a once in a lifetime dram.
